This page, simply a slightly different way of looking at the local radar data, is updated every 10 minutes with the most current image from the Phoenix office of the National Weather Service (station IWA). When you first come here it will take a moment for the 24 images contained in the loop to download, after which the loop will start automatically. Given the time between updates, and the number of images in the loop, one run will show you roughly four hours of radar data.

The Storm Predator software downloads these images from NWS and does further processing on them. They are then sent by us to the server for presentation. You can refresh the page at any time to see the new images. Note that directly under the image and at the very top is the date and time (in both UTC and MST) the image was captured. The small triangular red flag just above "Phoenix" is the approximate location of our station - actually at the base of the flag pole if you really want to get picky.
